Full day hiking in the Grampians National Park (Gariwerd )

The Grampians Peaks Trail is a memorable multi-day hike through the rugged interior of the Grampians National Park.

We offer exceptional day hiking along the Grampians Peaks Trail, we explore extraordinary landscapes, safely guided by our qualified local ECO guides. Our authentic nature-based experiences focus on the Parks spectacular landscapes, incredible rocky backdrops where native flora and fauna abound.

No need for our guests to lug overnight packs, we carry daypacks and when the hiking is over, we return to local accommodation providers to before venturing out on the next day’s adventure.

Explore the Grampians dramatic mountain peaks, discover the rugged rocky outcrops and take in the unforgettable panoramas, along with the ancient aboriginal heritage of Gariwerd.

Full-Day Hiking

Below are two options we highly recommend, however as the trail becomes fully operational, other hiking choices will be available for you to consider as:

  • Mt Stapylton Loop
  • Mt Abrupt
  • The Major Mitchell Plateau

The Pinnacle Loop

Commencing from Halls Gap we follow Stoney creek into the Wonderland ranges passing fascinating rock formations and mini waterfalls.  Through the Grand Canyon, Silent Street and on to the Pinnacle. After lunch, we cut through the Wonderland escarpment on our return to Halls Gap.

Mt Rosea Loop

The Mt Rosea hike is just awesome, including fascinating rock formations and a breathtaking view from the Eagles Nest. After the summit and lunch, we return via the Burma Track. This hike rewards us with some of the best views in the Grampians National Park.
